Significant Factor(s):

Keeping the trolling motor on the lowest speed. Pitching the in the water with no splash.

The Story:

I dropped the lure in the water. While I was trying to watch my line a gust of wind blew me away from the spot, so I turned the trolling motor backwards trying to beat the wind when I noticed my line moving in the same direction as the wind but when I went to pick up the jig I felt some weight on It so I set the hook hard. I fought it for about 30 seconds.Then I put it in my livewell so it could rest for a few minutes. Then I Measured it and got someone to take some pictures of it.
