Significant Factor(s):

Fished extremely slow, didn't give up on the bait. I had only had 1 other hit on it that day. Very patient in landing the fish, didn't try to horse it in.

The Story:

This fish took 3-4 minutes to land, best fight I've ever had in my life, jumped 2-3 times. When we got her into the boat the hook nearly fell out of her mouth, not the best hook placement in the world I guess. We were letting the boat drift for the most part, no trolling motor at the time of the catch. We were actually on our way to what I thought was a better trophy spot to hit during the peak time.
