Significant Factor(s):

Had read on BFHP about a biggin being caught and what kind of bait was used. Went fishing in the middle of the week after hearing about it.T he post had said that they had gotten it on a big spinnerbait. Made a stop at the tackle shop for a 1 oz. tin roller in a shad color.

The Story:

Was drifting the channel slow rolling the spinnerbait nicking the weeds when she hit. Made a real short fight out of it, only letting her have two short runs. Keep the rod tip under water so she couldn`t jump till I was ready to grab her. No net,just a good lip lock. Started shouting for some locals to come over to take a picture as soon as she hit. Ran over to meet them half way and got the pic.

Comments:

I read most of the posts on Bass Fishing Home Page no matter what part of the country it`s from. Just to see what the bass are hitting. Since comeing on line i have doubled my big bass catches. Pres. Hook One in SJ, we are a jon boat lunker club. After fishing with a bass club out of Pa. that fished in 4 states I started a club for South Jersey and am getting bigger bass here. Go Fishing,Good Luck!!!!!! Backlash2
