This was a night T. There is a underwater point that sticks out at the dam. Started there and the fish were schooling. Caught a few small fish in the school. Knew the bait fish were there and the ridge had grass and deep water off it. Sounds like a great place to spend the night fishing. I caught this 9.5 at 1:30am and my partner caught a 9lber at 2am on a Strike King Midnight Special.

The Story:

I was C-Rigging a 6" Berkley Red Shad Power Worm on a 3/8oz weight on a 12" leader. Never felt the fish until I picked up the slack. The fight was on. Took about 5 minutes. This was a night T and the lighting was not that great. So I played out the fish. The fish was so fat it looked like it was on the bed.
