Bass was on its bed and I had tried everything in the box, when my wife came out to see me and I told her to try. My wife let go of the reel and I grabbed it out of the water(it had hung on a branch) got the fish out and got a picture and released the fish. A week later got the film back and a nice picture of a blurr and the sun. Never caught anything else out of that pond.

The Story:

Comments:

Virginia is nothing like fishing in Texas. You have to work for everthying you catch here, and worms don't do much of anything. I am in the Navy and grew up fishing Lake Conroe and stock ponds in East Texas. I didn't know how good that was till I got up to Virginia and saw snow. Going to Florida soon, hopefully what I hear is true and the bassin is great.
